Oporto Forte is pleased to share a milestone announcement for business development in Portugal. The COMPETE 2030 program has announced the launch of four essential competitions, aimed at internationalization, innovation, research, and business training. These initiatives represent unmissable opportunities for companies seeking expansion and innovation on the global stage.
The first competition, SICE – Internationalization of SMEs, supports joint internationalization operations, assisting SMEs in exploring foreign markets, capturing new clients, and promoting their brands internationally, including through digital tools. Targeted towards non-profit entities working with SMEs, the application deadline extends from October 30, 2023, to January 31, 2024.
The second competition, SICE – Productive Innovation, encourages individual innovative operations in the production of goods and services. It is a unique opportunity for companies of any nature and legal form in the NUTS II regions of the Continent. Applications are open from November 2, 2023, to December 31, 2024.
The third, SIID – Internationalization of R&D, focuses on research and development activities, supporting the creation or improvement of products, processes, or systems. This competition is open to SMEs and small-medium capitalization companies, with phased applications starting from October 31, 2023.
Lastly, SIQRH – Business Training is aimed at medium and large companies, aiming to improve skills through training actions. The application period runs from November 15, 2023, to January 31, 2024.
